“Resistance: They Fought Back” Premiere – Sunday, January 26th

Resistance:  They Fought Back Premiere 
The documentary film chronicles the Eastern European archaeological work that our late RST member, Dr. Rabbi Richard A. Freund, conducted on behalf of Christopher Newport University from 2019 to 2022.

In addition to the national PBS broadcast on January 27th, The film will also be screened locally at the Temple Beth El 24th Annual Virginia Peninsula Jewish Film Festival on Sunday, January 26 at 2pm at the Williamsburg Regional Library Theater (515 Scotland Street, Williamsburg, VA).  Admission is free.  A talk back with film producer Paula Apsell will be provided afterward along with light dessert and beverages.
